Audki Bean "Bolanese"
Ths is a yummy and filling recipie as usual suitable for vegans and vegetarians and meat eaters alike, but with no meat, of course. It has numerous health benefits and is low in calories and pretty easy to make up. For people who drink, this would probably go well with red wine.
Shopping basket:
Tin of chopped tomatoes
Large Onion
Two cloves of garlic
One tin of aduki Beans
Red Pepper
Salt
Pepper
Linguine Pasta (whatever shape you want)
Mushrooms (buttons or field)
Kitchen Activities:
1. Chop onion into small cubes and or rings for texture depending on preferences
2. Chop garlic. (or press it with a garlic presser, these things are amazing <3)
3. Heat a tablespoon of sunflower oil in deep frying pan or sauce pan.
4. Fry onions plus Garlis until nice and soft
5. Chuck in chopped up pepper and mushrooms, SEASON. 

5. Drain and pour in 400g of aduki beans. Season.
6. add tinned of chopped tomoatoes.
7. Simmer for 15 minutes or so. Season again.
8. Meanwhile bring a pan of water to the boil, add some salt and throw in your choice of pasta for however many people you are cooking for. 
The aduki suace will last a few days in the fridge too and you can just reheaat it so is good if you are the only vegan/vegie in your household providing no one else wants to eat your super healthy and yummy dinner!
Health Benefits Onions and mushrooms have anticancer fighting properties. Mushrooms in particular are known to help prevent breast cancer (in both men and women)
Aduki beans are super low in fat and calories and provide a really good source of protein, particular if you are on a vegan diet. Tomatoes are full of anitoxidants which are again anti cancer fighting.
